Wendy Johnsen

Wendy trained as a medical doctor many years ago in South Africa. She initially practised in the area of Women’s Health, delivering hundreds of babies - a joyful and fulfilling experience. Later she moved her practice to the other end of life, specializing in Palliative Care. She is passionate about helping patients and their families to navigate the dying process in ways that meet their needs and provide the best quality of life possible. Wendy has been a Bible student for most of her life, and completed a Masters in Theological Studies at Regent College, Vancouver, Canada. Although born and raised in South Africa, she has enjoyed living in Canada with her husband and 2 children for over 30 years.
